Adrian Schofield is a passionate career and employability skills STEM Coach. For the past decade his coaching, consulting and mentoring has helped countless Coachee's overcome their perceived limitations, increase their confidence and achieve their professional and personal goals.
He has successfully worked with STEM Clients at all levels - from Graduate to Executive - and everything in-between.. His unique blend of professional and personal experience, make him an ideal STEM Coach to support others to become the best they can be, both in and outside of work.
Adrian has spent many years working with STEM Talent Acquisition and HR teams across a variety of quantitative industries in North America, England and Europe. He has supported and worked with prestigious global organisations, such as AIG, JP Morgan, Audible (Amazon), WorldQuant, Standard & Poor, New York Life and GroupM/ WPP.
His expertise in identifying, attracting and hiring talented STEM individuals into these organisations allowed him to develop a deep understanding of business eco-systems and the behaviours, values, cultures and ways of working that fuel individual and organisational success. Adrian has coached Clients in periods of transformation, industry switch, life change, Termination or redundancy.
In addition to supporting Coachees who are already in industry, he and Hudson Coaching continue to work in close partnership with world class academic research programs and their Graduates.
These include: NYUs Center for Data Science (https://cds.nyu.edu/), which is home to a top-ranked programs like their MS in Data Science, one of the first PhD in Data Science, and a new undergraduate program in Data Science, together with a lively Fellow and Postdoctoral community.
Adrian also works with the Department of Statistics at Columbia (https://stat.columbia.edu/about-us/) who offers a full range of courses in probability and theoretical and applied statistics. In addition to the department’s undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, the department also participates in the university’s master’s programs in mathematical finance, actuarial science, data science, and quantitative methods in social science. The department hosts outstanding visiting faculty and postdoctoral fellows, and conducts specialized summer courses, workshops and seminars in advanced statistics, probability, and interdisciplinary topics.
Since beginning Hudson Coaching in 2019, Adrian has experienced and navigated first hand the challenges and rewards associated with creating a successful business - an experience he also draws upon to the benefit of his clients and Coachee's.
